FAQ session with Dunhill Tuxedos….

Why not answer all the questions we see our customers asking all the time in
one little blog box It is definitely the “what I need to know before I rent”
info that we find everyone wondering.
So here goes….and if you still have a question lingering in your mind
unanswered…..feel free to write it in the comment box and we will gladly
answer.
How much of a deposit do I need to
put down?
When you come in to get measured, we suggest that you put a $25.00 deposit
down on your tuxedo order. This deposit
is not held and goes towards your balance for your rental. It is always nice for grooms’ to give their
groomsmen a heads up about the deposit.
Can I change any vest and tie, and
how much do they cost?
Any of our vest and ties in our stores can be mixed and matched with any
tuxedo style. There are no up-charges
depending on color or style; they are all included in the price depending on
the style you select. We have over 50
colors to choose from and any of our formalwear specialists would be happy to help
you select the best coordinating colors.
What if I’m going on a trip and need
the tuxedo for the duration?
If you are going on cruise or a destination vacation and need a tuxedo
rental for more than the normal weekend rental, we gladly offer what we call a “cruise
package”. To take it for duration we offer the normal rental plus half of the
rental.? Again, any of formalwear
specialists will be happy to clarify the package.
Do I need to make an appointment to
order my invitations?
Yes, YOU DO need an appointment to place your invitation order. We do this so we can make sure that one of
our invitation specialists can sit down with you give you the time that you
deserve. I suggest making them a week or
two ahead of time because they tend to fill up pretty quickly. The length of your appointment depends on how
prepared you are for your appointment ~ meaning if you have your decisions made
on wording, format, ink color, font, and which invitation you are going with. You DO NOT need an appointment to just come
in and browse through our albums…we suggest you do this first to find your
invitation before you make an appointment. Once you’ve found a couple of albums
that make you smile inside, you can take two of those albums home for two
days. You are required to put half down
of your balance when you place your order.

How long does it take for my invitations
to come in once their ordered?
Once you have placed your order, your invitations should arrive within 7-12
days. Once in, our invitation specialists
count and double check over your order and call you when they are in.
Do I need to make an appointment to
get measured?
You DO NOT need to make an appointment to get measured. It is actually a pretty quick process and any
of our staff would be happy to help you.
Do I need to make an appointment to
pick out my tuxedos/register my wedding?
You DO NOT need to make an appointment to come in and pick out your
tuxedos/register your wedding. Again,
anyone here can help you and we are ready to take as much time as you need with
you. Also, when you register your wedding with 5 paid rentals, you get a free
groom’s tuxedo, free ring bearer’s tuxedo, qualify for free invitations, and
get a gift certificate packet for $1,300 for surrounding wedding areas
What if I have guys out of town?
Dunhill Tuxedos has 6 locations, three stores in Western Michigan and three
in Northwest Indiana. If you have guys
not in these locations, they can go to any tuxedo store and get fitted and then
go to www.dunhilltuxedos.com to submit the online measurements. We will go over
that information with you when you register your wedding.
When do I pick-up and return my
tuxedo?
Our pick-up date is the Thursday before your event. If your event is on a Friday, it needs to be
returned on Saturday. If your event is
on a Saturday, your rental needs to be returned on the following Monday.
What is included in the rental price?
The rental price depends on the jacket you select and includes the vest,
tie, shirt, jacket, pants, cufflinks, and studs.
Can I get a swatch from you guys to
take home to match the girls’ dresses?
Yes! We have swatches in all of our
colors and they are available FREE to you.
Stop in any of our locations to get one to make sure you have the best
match.
